Artisan hand-embroidering a lehenga at the Bansari atelier

Our Story

Threads of a
thousand stories.

Bansari Collections was born in 2025, in a quiet workshop in Vadodara, with one belief — that the clothes we wear can carry our whole story without saying a word.

From the looms of Banaras to the chikan artisans of Lucknow, we partner exclusively with craft families who have practiced their art for generations in Jaipur ,Kutchh , Surat and many more. We are not a factory brand — we are a community of makers and wearers bound by a shared love of Indian textile heritage.

Master artisan hand-weaving a Banarasi saree

12 wks

avg. time per
hand-embroidered piece

Crafted with Intention

Made by hand.
Made to last.

Every piece is hand-cut, hand-embroidered, and hand-finished. We work in small batches, never in factories. Each garment passes through at least seven pairs of skilled hands before it reaches yours.

We pay our artisans above market rates and ensure ethical, dignified working conditions in every workshop we partner with. When you buy Bansari, you invest directly in a livelihood.

A Modern Heritage

Tradition worn,
not just preserved.

Tradition isn't preserved by being frozen in a museum — it's preserved by being worn, washed, reworn, and passed on. Our pieces blend timeless silhouettes with contemporary cuts so they live with you, not just for one occasion.

"Wear What Words Cannot Say."

What We Stand For

Our Values

Craft First

Every piece is hand-embroidered, never machine-produced. We work in small batches so quality is never compromised.

Artisan Welfare

We pay artisans above market rates, provide healthcare benefits, and ensure dignified, safe working conditions.

Sustainability

Natural dyes, zero-waste cutting practices, and plastic-free packaging are non-negotiable standards at Bansari.

Authenticity

We source directly from weaving communities — never from middlemen — so every rupee reaches the maker's hands.
